Nearly three years since the Taliban regained control, conditions have worsened. Recent flash floods have killed at least 200 people and left 40,000 children homeless. This disaster adds to severe hunger, malnutrition, and economic collapse. 3.2 million children under 5 are facing acute malnutrition. Families are taking desperate measures to survive, including withdrawing children from school and, in extreme cases, selling them to cover debts. Ummay Habiba, Senior Communications in Afghanistan speaks about the impact of the recent floods in Baghlan Province. #AfghanistanCrisis #HumanitarianAid/media:description> media:community> media:starRating count="3" average="5.00" min="1" max="5"/> media:statistics views="15"/> /media:community> /media:group> /entry> entry> id>yt:video:oQeyoaIYL9M/id> yt:videoId>oQeyoaIYL9M/yt:videoId> yt:channelId>UCRwgVWaim_g9X4wAXOf1sbQ/yt:channelId> title>Need for Unhindered Aid and Ceasefire/title> link rel="alternate" href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQeyoaIYL9M"/> author> name>Save the Children Canada/name> uri>https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRwgVWaim_g9X4wAXOf1sbQ/uri> /author> published>2024-05-26T15:16:21+00:00/published> updated>2024-06-27T15:08:19+00:00/updated> media:group> media:title>Need for Unhindered Aid and Ceasefire/media:title> media:content url="https://www.youtube.com/v/oQeyoaIYL9M?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="640" height="390"/> media:thumbnail url="https://i4.ytimg.com/vi/oQeyoaIYL9M/hqdefault.jpg" width="480" height="360"/> media:description>🚨 Despite warnings, the situation in Gaza is worsening. Aid through land routes, the most effective delivery method, remains blocked. Military activity and relocation orders are preventing aid and nutrition services from meeting urgent needs. Different crossing openings and closings shouldn’t distract us: the people of Gaza need unimpeded humanitarian assistance via established routes. Limited supplies have entered Gaza since May 6 and this has resulted in critical shortages of food, water, and fuel. We need a definitive ceasefire now! In the meantime, we need immediate, unhindered humanitarian access across all available land routes and inside Gaza./media:description> media:community> media:starRating count="2" average="5.00" min="1" max="5"/> media:statistics views="19"/> /media:community> /media:group> /entry> entry> id>yt:video:SDvA84t3q30/id> yt:videoId>SDvA84t3q30/yt:videoId> yt:channelId>UCRwgVWaim_g9X4wAXOf1sbQ/yt:channelId> title>2024 Animal Awards/title> link rel="alternate" href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDvA84t3q30"/> author> name>Save the Children Canada/name> uri>https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRwgVWaim_g9X4wAXOf1sbQ/uri> /author> published>2024-05-24T14:26:17+00:00/published> updated>2024-06-27T15:16:22+00:00/updated> media:group> media:title>2024 Animal Awards/media:title> media:content url="https://www.youtube.com/v/SDvA84t3q30?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="640" height="390"/> media:thumbnail url="https://i4.ytimg.com/vi/SDvA84t3q30/hqdefault.jpg" width="480" height="360"/> media:description>Check out a few furry friends that ‘win the prize’ for being great companions and support systems to children around the world. 01.01.1970 01:00:00 30.05.2024 18:19:42
Afghanistan's children face immense hardships. #AfghanistanCrisis #HumanitarianAid

7:: Need for Unhindered Aid and Ceasefire

01.01.1970 01:00:00 26.05.2024 15:16:21
🚨 Despite warnings, the situation in Gaza is worsening. In the meantime, we need immediate, unhindered humanitarian access across all available land routes and inside Gaza.
