📺 The Rolling Ball - Gravitrax Runs
What a marble run ride! 🙃🥳 It's been 2 years since we uploaded our first Gravitrax video ... and while last year we celebrated The Rolling Ball's Youtube-birthday with a look back(-wards) on YOUR most liked video of the year, we now had a look back on our own favorite Gravitrax tracks and want to share their very special stories with you 💚 THANK YOU so much for all of your support during those last 2 months since we came back (because yes, actually we had kind of left Youtube...😅), you're amazing, and we hope you enjoy to discover, why these 3 marble runs still feel so special to us!

When asked about their favorite Gravitrax expansion, everyone always thinks about those that bring the marbles up again (like the Scoop, the Jumper, the Hammers...) first, but I think the one that we really LOVE the most, is the Spiral: It's SO simple, so much fun to watch - and in Gravitrax it's one of the very few elements that can be used over and over again in the same marble run track without having to be reprogrammed! So when we built this track, we put in every Spiral expansion we had at the time ... and when we managed to use every single one of them two times in the end, combining it with this perfect double round trip at the top ...we felt like we had built a better track than we would ever have thought we could! And we're still feeling the same fun when rewatching it 🤩
Having more Spirals by now, we should maybe retry this ... 😉

This is the track, that kind of made us feel at home at Youtube, you could say 💚 By surprise (and more or less over night) it gained much for views than any other Gravitrax track on our channel before by that time - and this made up for all the effort we had put into the video to film it the way it is! Because, yes: Putting Gravitrax Flips, Cannons, Jumpers and Scoops on balconies might look super cool - but it's not the best idea, if you want to film one perfect full run of your marble ... 😅
Still happy we put the patience in this!

I've said it before and I can only underline it: This Gravitrax marble run featuring 6 Jumpers in a row, is still the most efficient track we've ever built so far 🤩 Very often when using our Gravitrax Jumpers, we're combining them with Scoops (like in track n°3, for example 😉), because they are useful for getting the marble up - but unfortunately not very reliable for our full run videos, when used alone! However, putting a Scoop before a Jumper, means that you can't use its underway anymore ... So for once we really wanted to take profit of ALL functions of ALL our Jumpers in a giant track - and expected all this to be a nightmare to film. But what shall I say? If all is planned well, all works well, it seems 😅 Because the clip you see, is more or less the first try - and I still can't believe it! REALLY seems to be our most perfect Gravitrax track ever 💚
