When asked about their favorite Gravitrax expansion, everyone always thinks about those that bring the marbles up again (like the Scoop, the Jumper, the Hammers...) first, but I think the one that we really LOVE the most, is the Spiral: It's SO simple, so much fun to watch - and in Gravitrax it's one of the very few elements that can be used over and over again in the same marble run track without having to be reprogrammed! So when we built this track, we put in every Spiral expansion we had at the time ... and when we managed to use every single one of them two times in the end, combining it with this perfect double round trip at the top ...we felt like we had built a better track than we would ever have thought we could! And we're still feeling the same fun when rewatching it 🤩
Having more Spirals by now, we should maybe retry this ... 😉

This is the track, that kind of made us feel at home at Youtube, you could say 💚 By surprise (and more or less over night) it gained much for views than any other Gravitrax track on our channel before by that time - and this made up for all the effort we had put into the video to film it the way it is! Because, yes: Putting Gravitrax Flips, Cannons, Jumpers and Scoops on balconies might look super cool - but it's not the best idea, if you want to film one perfect full run of your marble ... 😅
Still happy we put the patience in this!

I've said it before and I can only underline it: This Gravitrax marble run featuring 6 Jumpers in a row, is still the most efficient track we've ever built so far 🤩 Very often when using our Gravitrax Jumpers, we're combining them with Scoops (like in track n°3, for example 😉), because they are useful for getting the marble up - but unfortunately not very reliable for our full run videos, when used alone! However, putting a Scoop before a Jumper, means that you can't use its underway anymore ... So for once we really wanted to take profit of ALL functions of ALL our Jumpers in a giant track - and expected all this to be a nightmare to film. But what shall I say? If all is planned well, all works well, it seems 😅 Because the clip you see, is more or less the first try - and I still can't believe it! REALLY seems to be our most perfect Gravitrax track ever 💚

In this step-by-step video we show you how to to this - and you can even build along with us, if you like 👍 Be aware though: Make sure to get the best building conditions you can! Our track was built on a PERFECTLY LEVELED table! And even there, it works ... but NOT always (as always with Gravitrax, haha)! So just try again then - and make this trying a game! Unfortunately you can never know which ball will go down the vortex first - so (unless you're just using cannons) you can't program to always have the three colors to roll on. But at least we started and arrived with red, blue, green 🙂 Enjoy!

If you're not comfortable at reading one of these languages, you can still build with the book, of course - but will miss all the interesting side infos about tricks, physics and given missions, which are an essential part of the book! 01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 27.01.2023 · 18:37:37 ··· ··· ··· ··· ··· ··· While we're planning our next big track that's to feature a Gravitrax PRO expansion, we went back to our Starter Set EXTREME for you and developed a cool track using only the set's pieces, but integrating all of the 4 PRO expansions (which can also be found in the Gravitrax GIANT Set, by the way, if you have this one)! In this step-by-step tutorial we show you how to do the same and let you build along with us! Have fun! And if you want to join in, but have a different Starter Set: The really needed expansions for this Gravitrax track are the Turntable, the Splitter and the Mixer. The Helix can be replaced by other tiles, but if you want to shoot the marble up like we did, you would probably need a tunnel curve in this case though, to stop the ball from leaving the track...

This is the missing part of our series that lets you find out about the reality of the different Gravitrax Starter Sets and what Ravensburger proposes you to build "Out of the Box" once you open their manual for first inspirations! As they are particularly beautiful, we have done several track videos using the Starter Set Lite base plates in the past already, but those clips can give false impression of what is possible with a Starter Set LITE, as we were always using two sets plus expansions. When we bought our sets, they were at a very good price - so we purchased them as some kind of "expansion" to get the small platform and the base plates, as only possible source at the time (meanwhile there is the GAME series). So unless you as well can get this set at a price that is close to this of an expansion or extension, we recommend to better compare it well to the contents, price and building options of the regular Gravitrax Starter Set!
