About a year ago, I watched one of Ryan Leach's videos where he made a diatonic track in C Major. He then had Gavin Leeper "anime-fy" it. Recently, I went back to watch that video, and even at its most basic form, I found myself hearing Ryan Leach's track repeating in my head. The melody is so simple and beautiful. I went ahead and took Ryan's melody and placed Gavin's chord progressions below it in a simple trance bassline. Those who are interested, this is the video I'm referring to:
