Staff members of Seaside Primary School at Walvis Bay has revived the school's feeding programme after it was stopped two years ago due to electricity and Covid-19 challenges. Acting school principal Lucinda Resandt says she could not let vulnerable children go hungry during break time, and therefore organised events and activities to raise funds to buy a gas stove, which was delivered on Friday. Resandt says staff members also want to ensure that pupils receive food other than porridge. A donation box has been put up at the school for teachers and good Samaritans to fill with food items.
