Bananas have 25 to 30 g carbohydrates and 3 to 4 g fiber which is a great thing. However, bananas are a whole food and it takes 1 to 1.5 hours to digest them. When you enter gym after eating a banana, it remains undigested in your stomach and you’re not gonna get any energy from it. Also, it may cause bloating to some individuals and being a pure carb source ,it can cause insulin spike and crash making you feel tiresome.
