CARBONIZED was a Swedish Progressive Death Metal band from Saltsjöbaden, Stockholm, formed in 1988 by LARS ROSENBERG and DISMEMBER vocalist MATTI KÄRKI. Joined by drummer PIOTR WAWRZENIUK, the trio was completed by THERION's CHRISTOFER JOHNSSON, who originally agreed to only perform session guitarwork but eventually became a full-time member.
The band never officially split up but stopped being active after recording the "Screaming Machines" album in 1994 (released 1996)
NO CANONIZATION was a 7" Single released in 1990 through Thrash Records.
