Waiting is hard! We’ve all got a story where, as the saying goes, our haste made waste. We tried to move things along and ended up creating a bigger mess.
In Genesis 16, Abram and Sarai get tired of waiting for God’s promise of a child. It’s been 10 years since Abram first received the promise, God seems slow at best and absent at worst, and so they decide to make a move. The only problem is their move isn’t God’s move, and that’s going to create some problems.
This Sunday, we’ll read the story and work through Biblical wisdom for our times of waiting. If you ever struggle to wait, this chapter is for you!
