Being a father is awesome! And it can feel overwhelming. Between juggling various responsibilities and roles along with the normal grind of life, dads can live with a sense of constantly falling short of some internal or external standard. But wait, this isn’t just a dad-thing, this is an everybody-thing … we can ALL feel this way.
This Sunday, we’ll celebrate dads and father-figures of all stripes. As we open the Bible, we’ll see that God holds in high regard all our daily efforts at faithfulness. While the cultural messaging is often ‘more, better, faster’ – what God calls us to is filled with far more hope, joy, and peace.
Oh, and all the men will receive a small gift after the service. Can’t wait for Sunday!
