As you are focused on living the best life that you can, creating whatever it is that you're wanting to do, I just want to re-engineer how you're thinking about it. What most people do, most people think about it in this term, what do I need to do? What do I need to do? What do I need to do?
Now, let's be honest, with everything that we want to do, whether it's something personal or professional, there's often an order of operations or a sequence that is ideal that will get you in alignment to be able to do it efficiently. But for most people, that's really not where most people need to start. Instead of focusing so much on what you need to do, focus on this.
Focus on the question of who do I need to become? That is more important than what you need to do. Because once you get clear on who you need to become, all the other stuff, it aligns. I'm talking about how you carry yourself, how you show up, your expectations of yourself, your expectations of other people. I'm talking about your discipline.
I'm talking about your boundaries. I'm talking about your character. I'm talking about your values and your principles. That's probably why you're stuck. And that's why you're going to work hard and you're not going to go anywhere, because you're focused on what you need to do. And the rest of the time figuring out who do I need to become.
