Jay Mistry came over to share his Birthday whisky with me. And, boy, did I get lucky and make a good choice recommending this to Jay. We both loved this bottle of Scotch, it was excellent, and we picked up all the notes before reading them off the bottle, which never happens. Sorry about the audio. Carefully matured in their own casks with spirit entrusted to us from Dalmore Distillery. Filled in 2008, aged 13 years, by Gordon & Macphail. Cask Strength: 56.2% ABV Non-chill filtered and no added color.
Notes: Vibrant vanilla and honeysuckle aromas lead to notes of lemon cheesecake, and rich honey flavors complement orange oil with hints of peppermint. A medium-bodied finish with soft grapefruit and mature oak.
