PennLive.com State Sen. Mike Regan, joined by State Sen. Scott Martin, pull 70-year-old environmental protestor Michael Bagdes-Canning to the ground.
Bagdes-Canning was illegally obstructing the entrance to Mangia Qui, a Harrisburg restaurant where State Sen. Martin was hosting a fundraiser dinner — $1,000 per plate.
Bagdes-Canning called the fundraiser a form of legal bribery, and said State Sen. Martin is ignoring environmental studies and voters in favor of listening to deep-pocketed donors who “Have $1,000 to be heard.”
According to Pennsylvania Statute, it is legal to use reasonable force to remove a person if they are preventing someone from accessing a location they have a right to be in.
