This gorgeous piece has its roots in the Genevan Psalter setting of Psalm 42. Its various movements help to create contrast and depth. The incredible amount of passion seen in the performance by the compower is my main inspiration in my own interpretation and performance of this piece.
This was played on the Hinsz organ of the Bovenkerk in Kampen as sampled by MDA.
