When we were infants, there were times when we all just cried our hearts out and there was only one thing that would stop that cry; being picked up by our mother or father and being held firmly but gently over their heart, so that once again we felt that we were one with them and not separated from them.
No matter what age you are, you were made to be held that way by God and no matter how many times, or how hard, you embrace this world and all its pleasures, this world will never silence the cry in your heart for the peace of God, the experience of being set at one with Him, that only the reception of His Holy Spirit brings. This world cannot embrace you in the way that Christ did on the Cross, an embrace that is imparted to you by His Holy Spirit, the comforter.
