Psalm 102:8 Mine enemies reproach me all the day; and they that are mad against me are sworn against me.
When we are in Christ, there are three enemies of the cross. The devil, the world and our flesh. Consistently, they will seek to keep us in a place of condemnation by reminding us either of what we have done (sin) and|or, who we were. But scripture says this:
Romans 15:3 For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.
Our reproach, i.e. the sin|s we committed that the devil, our flesh and the world reminds us of, Christ took it upon himself. Don't be shamed into silence but rather silence the condemners (Flesh, devil, world) by telling them of the forgiveness, mercy and love that God has shown you by covering your shame. Hallelujah 🙌🏾🙇🏾♂️
