1:: Spirit of Prophecy

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 05.04.2024 · 00:26:57 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· Acts 10:43 KJV To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. What is clear based on the above scripture is that all the prophets of the old testament spoke of Jesus. But often we don't see him when reading and therefore, we are missing the very essence of Scripture (John 5:39). If we desire to see Christ in his word, then we need to understand what is the Spirit of prophecy, for therein is he revealed. ··· ··· ··· ··· Psalm 104:5 KJV Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever. God laid the 🌎 and made man from the dust of it. That man that he made, for all his glory, was not spiritual but natural: 1 Corinthians 15:46-47 KJV Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. [47] The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. Before being born again i.e. before the foundation of heaven ✝️ (1 Cor 3:11), was established in us, we had an earthy foundation. One rooted in the man made of dust... Adam ☠️. 1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. He was made a natural man and the natural man cannot receive the things of the Spirit (1 Cor 2:14). We needed the foundation of heaven to be laid in us before the we can truly 👀: 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. [10] But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. But for many, the wine 🍷 of the natural man seems so 😋, they are unwilling to try another, not realizing that God served the best wine i.e the wine of the Spirit, last. ··· ··· ··· ··· Psalm 104:4 KJV Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire: Whenever we read of angels, often, our minds immediately envisions a being of heavenly orientation 😇, and this is certainly true. But consider this: There are two kingdoms: light and darkness , and everyone alive today is a messenger i.e. angel, of one of the two kingdoms. Before coming to Christ, we were messengers/angels of darkness and earthy in orientation, but when we came to him, what the psalmist said comes to past: he maketh *his angels* spirit. In other words: He claims us as his own, we are now *his angel*, his messengers, sons of God and we are transformed to be conformed to his nature i.e. spirit. The earthy orientation is past, for we have been made new made heavenly. Take a look at verse 3 of the psalm, there he told us how "he lays the beams of his chambers in the waters" i.e. he makes his home in his people (the waters). Making *his angels* spirit is only possible when verse 3 comes to past i.e. It's only when he dwells in us (and we in him) are we in spirit and able to an ambassador for the kingdom of light. ··· ··· ··· ··· Good morning all. Psalm 104:2 Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain: Follow this progression of words and consider 🤔 this: When a man is joined with his wife they are one flesh. When joined as 1️⃣, how the husband treats "his body" is akin to how he treats his wife (Eph 5:25-31). The Bible tells us our maker is our husband (Isa 54:5). When we are joined with Jesus as his bride, we are "his body", we become one: 1 Corinthians 6:17 KJV But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. However Christ treats his body, is akin to how he treats his bride and since they are one spirit, she will walk in agreement. We are buried ⚰️ with him, we are crucified ✝️ with him, we are raised with him, because we are his body... what does any of this have to do with the Psalm above? God covers himself with a "garment of light". Remember, however he treats himself is akin to how he treats his bride. Revelation 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder a in heaven; *a woman clothed with the sun*,.... God dwells in Light unapproachable to man, but when we are one with Christ, the old man who couldn't approach died. Now, we have been clothed in light, as he is, so we can dwell in light, where he is.. 🤯 #christian #psalms #dailyword #christiancontent #revelation #understandingtheword #lovejesus #scripture #scriptureoftheday #jesus #verseoftheday #dailydevotional #dailybread #breadoflife #bible #bibleverse #scriptureverse #jesuschrist #gospel #goodnews #jesuschrist #jesussaves #JesusIsLord #kingjesus #jesusisgod If you like the content you can check out our website for more: https://childbygrace.co/

··· ··· ··· ··· Good morning all. Psalm 104:1 KJV Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty. Jesus said to search 🔎 the scriptures for they testify 🗣️ of him (John 5:39). His words are echoed in Acts: Acts 10:43 KJV To him (Jesus) give *all the prophets* witness,.... Every prophet and every book of scripture is speaking of Jesus ✝️. We have to ask him for his wisdom, and apply line on line principle on everything we read lest we miss him. Line on line shows that the above Psalm has several nuggets which testifies of Jesus. Consider one: 1. Jesus is the great God Psalm 104:1 ....O LORD *my God, thou art very great*..... Titus 2:13 KJV Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the *great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;* Jesus is the great God and Saviour of the world. He appeared and sacrificed himself as a lamb 🐑, an by virtue of this, we can have fellowship with God. Therefore, to Bless the LORD as the psalmist said, is to bless the name of Jesus. 🙌🏾 If you like the content you can check out our website for more: https://childbygrace.co/ #christian #psalms #dailyword #christiancontent #revelation #understandingtheword #lovejesus #scripture #scriptureoftheday #jesus #verseoftheday #dailydevotional #dailybread #breadoflife #bible #bibleverse #scriptureverse #jesuschrist #gospel #goodnews #jesuschrist #jesussaves #JesusIsLord #kingjesus #jesusisgod

For those who chose to 🙇🏾‍♂️ to him, his word begins working in our 💕 to bring everything that we are in subjection to his way, his truth: 2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and *bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;* Sometimes, it may seem/feel like the flesh is winning, like we haven't made any progress 🤷🏾‍♂️.... stay in the hands of the potter, he will finish the work he began in your heart: Philippians 1:6 NKJV being confident of this very thing, that *He who has begun a good work in you will complete it* until the day of Jesus Christ; If you like the content you can check out our website for more: https://childbygrace.co/ #christian #psalms #dailyword #christiancontent #revelation #understandingtheword #lovejesus #scripture #scriptureoftheday #jesus #verseoftheday #dailydevotional #dailybread #breadoflife #bible #bibleverse #scriptureverse #jesuschrist #gospel #goodnews #jesuschrist #jesussaves #JesusIsLord #kingjesus #jesusisgod

··· ··· ··· ··· Psalm 103:21 KJV Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure. If you have accepted Jesus as Lord and saviour then the above applies to you. 🫵🏾 are a member of his host i.e. you belong to the family of heaven. You are a minister. You are to do his pleasure! How do we "do his pleasure"? Glad you asked ☺️ Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure *to give you the kingdom.* When we, *by faith*, function in our role as 'ministers'❗For it's only when we share and stand in Christ ✝️, who himself is the entrance to the kingdom, can others *come to faith in him*, even as we remain in him. 2 Peter 1:11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. *The Fathers good pleasure is to give us the kingdom* and the means of his pleasure being fulfilled is *via faith in Jesus*. It's impossible to please God without faith, because without faith in Christ we will remain outside ☠️ his kingdom and this doesn't please at all to God. As he said: Ezekiel 33:11 KJV .... As I live, saith the LORD God, *I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked*; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? ··· ··· ··· ··· Psalm 103:19 The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. God rules over ALL. Look at the story of Job, Satan 🐍 could only do what he was allowed to do. God set limits on him: Job 1:12 KJV And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; *only upon himself put not forth thine hand*. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD. God doesn't change, he still sets limits 🚷 on the tempter/the devil: 1 Corinthians 10:13 KJV ....but God is faithful, who will not suffer (allow) you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. If the tempter is standing in your way, God wouldn't have allowed it if you weren't able to bear it. When we dwell in God, we are dwelling in love, the love that bears all things. We can bear what the tempter throws at us, is not a show of our strength, cause on our own we will fall, it's by the strength of the Lord. He is our way of escape, he is our hiding place from the storm. Selah! 11:: Psalm 103:17 KJV But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear

··· ··· ··· ··· Psalm 103:17-18 KJV But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; [18] To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them. God's mercy, is a 🆓🎁, as is his righteousness. Both are credited to us by faith in Jesus. Just as Abraham believed God and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Why then does v18 say "to such as keep his covenant and to those who remember his commandments to do them"? This suggest that we have *to do* before *we can get*, how then is it a free 🎁? 🤔 What we have received was free *to us*, but someone ✝️ paid for it. He did and we got. He did what we could not because of the weakness of flesh. Jesus paid it all. He opened the door 🚪 to the kingdom of heaven, and everyone who has encountered him and the redemption he brings knows... but for the ✝️, God would be impossibly out of the reach of man. This moves us to honour him in/with our lives, to keep his command to love ❤️, not as a requirement towards receiving salvation, but as appreciation and thanks in that, if we have him, we have already obtained it. ··· ··· ··· ··· Good morning all. Psalm 103:17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; The mercy of the LORD ✝️ being given to us is not a difficult concept for most to appreciate. However, the LORD _giving us_ *his righteousness* is not as clear cut for many. God declares in Romans 3:10 ....There is none righteous, no, *not one.* But he also said: Ezekiel 18:26 When a righteous man *turneth away from his righteousness*....... It's not a contradiction, the righteous man who turns from *his righteousness* has turned away from what has been given to him. Question is, how did he receive it? Consider: Habakkuk 2:4 ...but the just shall live *by his faith*. Galatians 2:20 .....I live by *the faith of the Son of God* 'By his faith' = the faith of the Son of God. 'His righteousness' also = the righteousness of the Son of God. Thats how we receive it: Romans 3:21-22 KJV But now *the righteousness of God without the law is manifested,* being witnessed by the law and the prophets; [22] Even *the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ* unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: Righteousness is a 🎁 from God for those who 'fear' 🙇🏾‍♂️ him. ··· ··· ··· ··· Psalm 103:15-16 As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. [16] For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. Yesterday, we got the following interpretive 🔑: Grass/ flower of the field = The life of man/people/flesh. To 👀 what God is saying in v16, we need the scriptural understanding 🤓 of "the wind". Ephesians 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every *wind of doctrine*... We are told to not be moved by every wind 🌬️, but what should be understood and will be seen clearly when we exercise line on line with Hosea 13:15, is this: Only the Wind *(Doctrine, Word, Voice, Truth)* of LORD should move us. But it's also clear that there are other winds *(doctrines, words, voices, lies)*. The wind from Psalm 103:16 moved the grass (flesh) from it's dwelling place. This shows us clearly, that this 🌬️🌾, is the wind of the LORD blowing on fleshy man. When we are planted "in the flesh" 💀, the wind of the LORD will seek to blow us into the Spirit ✝️, when we are "in the Spirit" ❤️, the wind of the 🐉 will seek to blow us into flesh 🖤. Selah! ··· ··· ··· ··· Psalm 103:15 As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. Scripture interprets scripture. But without the right 🗝, no matter how much we read, we won't understand certain scriptures, though we may think we do.. Consider this: Isaiah 40:6 ...All flesh is grass.... v7 ...surely the people is grass... *The life of man/people/flesh = grass/flower of the field.* This is an interpretive 🗝 and with this key, we can 🔓 various scriptures where grass/flower of the field are used. Zechariah 10:1 KJV ....so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field. By virtue of the keys, we know that God was promising to 🌧 upon the life of men/flesh. To see what he was going to rain, and how, we need more 🔑 🗝. Isaiah 55:10-11 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven..... So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth...... The rain is the Word of God (Jesus). The clouds are people (Heb 12:1). God is therefore telling us, that he was going to pour out himself (rain/Word of God) upon all flesh (grass), and he was going to do so via people who are filled with Light (bright clouds) i.e. fill with Knowledge of him. If you are a bright cloud and didn't know your purpose, hear the word of the LORD. 🌧️🌨️ upon the grass. ··· ··· ··· ··· Psalm 103:13-14 NKJV As a father pities his children, So the LORD pities those who fear Him. [14] For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust. The LORD knows our frame means: he knows that we are carnal, that we are flesh, that we have wicked 🖤🖤 and that continually, our thoughts 💭 are evil. In short, he knows we are dust. But didn't God make man of the dust 🤔 ? Does that then mean that he made us the way we are? Consider this: God showed in Adam's story, how life comes. When he made man of the dust, that man was not alive. It's not till God breathe in him did he come to life. There is no life in the dust, there never was. God breathing into Adam was a template for us to see how true life comes, when the Breath/Spirit of God enters the dust man. John 20:22 NKJV And when He (Jesus) had said this, *He breathed on them, and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit.* Until Jesus breathes on us, i.e. Until we receive the Spirit of God, we are yet dust and will desire the things of the dust, like the serpent. Dust is the serpent's 🍞🍗 (Gen 3:14, Isa 65:25), he savours 😋 the things that be of men (Mark 8:33) i.e. he has an appetite for carnal/earthy things. For dust meat, which has no life in it. The 🍖🥖 of Jesus, is the meat of the Spirit. This is the meat he has made available to the world, but many chose to hold on to the dust without breath, the meat without life. Receive the Holy Spirit and live. It concludes that they shall praise the LORD. 🙌🏾 Verse 19 begins with *For*, because it tells us why they would praise the LORD. Because just as he did in the time of Moses (Exo 3:7-8), he looked down and saw our troubles (bondage|death) ☠️ and heard our prayer, the prayer 🙏🏾 of the destitute (v 17). And came|comes down (Jesus) to loose|deliver his people from bondage|death (v 20). Now comes verse 21, which also begins with *to* because Jesus came down *to deliver* (v 20) and *to glorify* (v 21). When he brings us out of bondage|flesh|death and into freedom|Spirit|Life, thats how his name is declared|glorified in Jerusalem i.e. his people. Jerusalem (us) is filled with praise 🎉🎊 for her King, because he is also her Saviour.... Jesus (The Lord of Salvation).

Notice, God *beheld* the earth *To hear... to loose...* us prisoners of death. Now consider: Exodus 3:7-8 And the LORD said, *I have surely seen* the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and *have heard* their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; [8] *And I am come down to deliver them* out of the hand of the Egyptians..... God did indeed *come down* to deliver|to loose us. He came down where we were: in Egypt, in the earth, in darkness, to lead us to life|promise land. And the story of Israel is a shadow of his|our story. Like the children of Israel, he leads us out of bondage but a generation (flesh) has to die before we can enter the promise land. But let's remember that scripture says that "its appointed unto men once to die". We have to die, but *where we die* is critical. Why? Cause scripture says where the tree fall (dies) they shall it be (Ecc 11:3). If we die *in LORD Jesus*, that's when we are eternally loosed. If we die in Egypt|bondage, there will we be. God delivered us from Egypt so we won't die there, but rather die *In Him* Revelation 14:13 .....Blessed are the dead which *die in the Lord*. ...

··· ··· ··· ··· Psalm 102:18 This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD. Who are the people God will create? Consider that "create" suggest something new is coming forth. Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. This is how God *creates a people* who will praise him. By creating in us a clean heart, a new heart (Eze 36:26), and because the heart is new, the old heart i.e. the old ways of thinking and living, is gone. Behold a *new creation*. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Now the psalmist also says that "this shall be written, for the generation to come", who is the generation to come? Psalm 24:6 This is the generation of *them that seek him*, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah. If you are seeking the face of God revealed in Jesus, you are part of that "chosen generation". It's called the generation to come, because the generation of the flesh came first, the royal priesthood|In Spirit generation, came last. The best wine was serve last.. Selah

··· ··· ··· ··· Psalm 102:17 He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer. What is the prayer of the destitute? Destitute is used scripturally to say: to lack or be without, empty, poor etc. While this can speak to our physical state when come to God, it more addresses our spirit i.e. the spirit we come to him with. Poor (destitute|humble) or rich (puffed up|prideful). James 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. When we humble ourselves, we can rest assured that he hears us.

··· ··· ··· ··· Psalm 102:16 When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory. Here again scripture points us to the Messiah. Consider this: Zion = his people = the church = his body = temple So building Zion is God building his people|temple etc. Now, let's examine the question, when did the LORD build Zion? John 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, *Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.* Scripture went on to say in verse 21 that the temple he spoke of was his body. The temple aka his body, was destroyed on the cross and rebuilt|raised anew 3 days later. The ressurected Christ *IS* the rebuilt temple, the rebuilt Zion, the new man. Rev 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: *for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.* Though Christ completed the rebuilding of Zion with his ressurection, it's only when we come to him, the reality of it manifest in us. Now, the rebuilt temple is where his glory appears i.e. The transformed life, is where he is seen. Selah!

··· ··· ··· ··· Psalm 102:15 So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy glory. What God says here is a continuing thought from verses 13 & 14. In 13, he speaks of *the set time of his favour* i.e. when his Spirit came|comes in flesh and led|leads the flesh to be crucified. In 14, he says why he had to do that, cause his people took pleasure in stones (people) and favour dust (carnal|earthy things). (See his rebuke of Peter|Satan in Matt 16:23). He changes his people so they will take pleasure in *the corner stone* and favour heavenly things vs dust|earthy things (Col 3:2). Today's verse begins with *So* continues the thought. God works in his people, *So* he can work through his people. He work through his own, to reach those who have not yet come to know him i.e. heathen or Kings of the earth. We shine his light, so they may see his glory. Finally, consider why God calls those who don't know him *"kings of the earth"*. Cause anyone who knows him, knows that he is LORD of heaven and earth and live by *his decree*, those who don't know him live (and died) by their own decree i.e. they are king of their earthy lives.

24:: Psalm 102:14 For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 31.03.2023 · 09:33:16 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· Psalm 102:14 For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof. This Psalm begins with *For* because it connects to the previous verse when God spoke of *"the time of favour and when it comes"*. i.e. when the Spirit of God manifest in flesh and led|leads the flesh to the death (the cross). Now the *For* at the beginning of verse 14 tells us why God had to do that. Because the people of Zion were finding pleasure in her stones and favour in her dust. 🤔 what does that mean? The stones are the people and the dust is the carnal behaviour of the people. So Zion (the people of God) were finding pleasure in stones (in self and others) and favour to the dust (carnal behaviour). Aka men love darkness rather than light. *For* this reason, his Spirit had to|has to manifest in flesh. He alone can transform us from looking to men (stones), who are just like us.... i.e. dust lovers. And through the Spirit, we now find pleasure in the corner stone (Jesus), vs stones (men). The Spirit also refines the stones (us), so we can be *precious stones* (Mal 3:2-3, Rev 21:19) and used in building his City. Selah!

25:: Psalm 102:13 Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, ..

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 25.03.2023 · 13:01:46 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· Psalm 102:13 Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. Notice that the psalmist says; that God *shall* "arise" and have mercy on Zion (his people). And when God does this, its because the set time has come. The time when he shows his favour. Psalm 106:4 Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation; God's favour is expressed in him visiting his people with salvation. Luke 1:68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for *he hath visited* and redeemed his people, God visited his people through the womb of Mary and at that time, it was declared to her that she found favor (Luke 1:30). That declaration communicates that the set time has arrived. The manifestation of God in flesh is the set time where God's favour was|is|will be expressed. i.e. When the Spirit of God is manifested in us, when Christ is "birthed" in us, its cause we have *found favour*.. the set time has come. Selah! Proverbs 8:35 For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.

26:: Psalm 102:11-12 My days are like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass.

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 23.03.2023 · 10:20:03 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· Psalm 102:11-12 My days are like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass. [12] But thou, O LORD, shalt endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations. In verse 4 the psalmist says: my heart is smitten and withered like grass... here he repeats that but contrasts it with "but you O LORD, shall endure forever". Grass = flesh (Isa 40:6) LORD|God= Spirit (John 4:24) The highlight of flesh (man) is temporary but Spirit (God) is eternal is evident but consider this too: Romans 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. So two problems, our existence *in flesh* is temporary and while there, we cannot please God. God's solution? We have to join him *in Spirit*, but the only way to achieve this is, flesh has to die. Not the buried six feet under death, but the buried with 7 i.e. buried with Christ death (Rom 6:4). How dow we get "in Spirit"? The Word of God (Jesus) has to manifest in us. Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, *if* indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

··· ··· ··· ··· Psalm 102:9-10 For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping, [10] Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down. The psalmist not only let's us know of his "ashes and weeping" but the reason for it: the indignation and wrath of God. What is the connection between God's wrath|indignation and the psalmist being lifted up and cast down? 🤔 Consider what God says here: Psalm 147:6 The LORD *lifteth up the meek*: he *casteth the wicked down* to the ground. In one sense, when we humble ourselves before him, God will exalt us (lift us up), but when we exalt ourselves, God will humble us (pull us down). But note, both seems to have been done to the psalmist at the same time, how? When we are in Christ, the flesh is cast down by the same Word, that lifts up our spirit. *The body of Christ* (us) died on the cross, when the wrath|indignation of God reserved for sinful flesh, was poured on Jesus. His death, symbolic of our death, is where the flesh is cast down to the ground. So to, his ressurection, is where our spirit is lifted up. The the same place we are cast down (die), is the same place we are lifted up (live) i.e. In Jesus! Same time too, when we come to him.

··· ··· ··· ··· Psalm 102:8 Mine enemies reproach me all the day; and they that are mad against me are sworn against me. When we are in Christ, there are three enemies of the cross. The devil, the world and our flesh. Consistently, they will seek to keep us in a place of condemnation by reminding us either of what we have done (sin) and|or, who we were. But scripture says this: Romans 15:3 For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me. Our reproach, i.e. the sin|s we committed that the devil, our flesh and the world reminds us of, Christ took it upon himself. Don't be shamed into silence but rather silence the condemners (Flesh, devil, world) by telling them of the forgiveness, mercy and love that God has shown you by covering your shame. Hallelujah 🙌🏾🙇🏾‍♂️

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 11.03.2023 · 23:24:17 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· Psalm 102:6 I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert. Both the pelican and the owl are considered as unclean. By saying he is like them, the psalmist is expressing, like many of us do at times, how he feels standing before God... dirty, unclean, unworthy, undeserving, insignificant, a filthy sinner. We may not like the feeling described but consider that sin is often (if not always) the cause of us feeling that way. And consider also, that this is the sorrow of heart that leads us to repent. Until we see our uncleanness, we cannot fully appreciate what it took to reconcil us. It's easy to say God showed us mercy through the blood of Christ but consider, justice for YOUR sins was also achieved in the blood of the cross. Though that blood allows us to come before him with boldness, there was a price paid. Jesus died to achieve this. 🙇🏾‍♂️🙏🏾

30:: Psalm 102:5 By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin.

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 10.03.2023 · 09:13:15 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· Psalm 102:5 By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin. The psalmist made mention in verse 4 of forgetting to eat *his bread*. And naturally, what follows not eating for a period is weight loss, getting shriveled (bones cleave to skin) and eventually....death! This is no less true in spirit. Now consider, the psalmist connects his bones cleaving to his skin (becoming shriveled), to the voice of his groaning. How? 🤔 Because *the voice of his groaning* is him speaking in the Spirit i.e. speaking the Word of God as led by God. See, the psalmist wasn't just starving his flesh by not eating "his bread" but he was also feeding his spirit through his groaning. This is why the shrivelling of his flesh (bones cleave to skin) is connected to the voice of his groaning. This is an aged old military strategy. Block the enemies food supply. Starve them till they are to weak to fight, then attack. We can starve our flesh (not feed our mind carnal things) and weaken it, but it must be followed up with an attack. Feeding our spirit the Word of God is the way to attack the flesh. Selah!
