365 Jeden Tag ein neuer Song Das mir dieser Song so im Kopf hängen geblieben ist, ist schon ein wahres Wunder, lange Bestand in der Welt der Radios hatte er nicht hier in Deitschland, ich glaube in England ein paar Wochen länger. Er war ein One-Hit-Wonder der Schottischen Band *Pilot*. Irgendwie ist es aber auch kein Wunder, dass mir der Song so im Ohr hängen blieb, denn seine Harmonik und seine Melodie sind genau mein Ding. Ich hoffe er gefällt euch auch in meiner Version.

Sie blieb drei Wochen lang In einem Videointerview auf Radio Borders erklärte David Paton, dass es in dem Lied nicht um den Monat gehe, sondern um ein Mädchen namens January, wobei der Name von einer weiblichen Protagonistin aus einem Buch übernommen sei, das seine Frau gerade las. Der Vers hat nichts mit dem Refrain zu tun und handelt vom Erfolg von „ Magic “ und davon, wie es ihm die Welt eröffnet hatte. Auch in den Vereinigten Staaten landete das Lied Anfang 1976 in den Billboard Hot 100 und schaffte es dort kaum in die Charts. Auch in Australien landete es auf Platz eins, wo es sich acht Wochen lang hielt.
Im Januar 2016 wurde das Lied in Werbespots für ASDA- Filialen in Großbritannien gezeigt.
