LOST FILM FRAGMENT of The Queen of Sheba (1921)

SCI FI TV Presented with great pride are all surviving 17 seconds of the 9 reel 1921 epic "The Queen of Sheba".
Tragically, the original film was lost along with most other Fox silent film prints in the 1937 Fox vault fire in New Jersey.
We don't really know what the specifics of the plot of this film was, but we know it was a story of the romance between King Solomon (Fritz Leiber) and the Queen of Sheba (Betty Blythe).
Nonetheless, this short glimpse allows us to see classic over-the-top acting common to silent films, as well as the pretty great costumes worn; some of Blythe's costumes considered risqué at the time. -Johnny "SALF" Kirk
