It’s International Sandwich Sunday and today we’re headed down to Venezuela for the Patacon Maracucho. Versions of this sandwich can be found throughout Latin America including the Puerto Rican Jibarito which I did a while back. The recipe I’m using is linked below (YouTube, Facebook, Reddit) or in my Linketree in bio (Instagram , TikTok). I did kinda screw up the recipe though. I made the Venzuelan sauce Guasacaca (recipe linked below or in Linktree in bio) to use as plus up before realizing the sandwich already had avocado in it. D’oh! So I made it with the Guasacaca and plussed it up with another fav home made salsa although this recipe was of Mexican origin (recipe also linked below or in Linktree in bio)
