For you see the ham isn’t just ham and the sandwich filling, well, let’s just say it contains no less that six other ingredients. This is one of those sandwiches where I think it could be tasty…or it could suffer from trying to do too much. Btw, some folks ask how a sandwich that isn't plussed up be less than a 10? Plussing up is always about adding something to a sandwich to make it better. But there comes a time when adding more stuff won't really move the needle. It can still be a tasty sandwich without being a 10. Today’s recipe is an older one that I never got around to doing, the Nutty Curry Chicken Sandwich. It’s from ChatGPT and to be completely up front, it sound pretty tasty. Interestingly enough, I was able to get ChatGPT to be more specific about the “person” who created the sandwich. ··· ··· ··· ··· For today’s AI Friday I decided to expand my horizons as far was which AI bot I used. So today, I’m using a recipe created by Poe, an app put out by Quora. The prompt? Write a very weird sandwich recipe. That was it. And to be honest, this sounded like it would work with the exception of one ingredient. I think you’ll be able to pick up which one rather quickly. Also, I’ve seen a number of comments off about AI chatbots are unethical, that they’re just plagiarizing. That’s not exactly how algorithms work. It is using large amounts of existing information to inform the output (kinda like we humans do but at much larger scale and faster). But it’s not like the recipe for the Berrylicious Bacon Bite was just floating out there and the algorithm simply copied/pasted. Don’t get me wrong, I am deeply concerned about AI becoming a threat in a general sense but we aren’t there yet. And hopefully will never get there through I am cautiously pessimistic about it tbh.
