Knorr-Bremse AG Making the difference: The Digital Freight Train is about to usher in an epoch-making transformation involving the end-to-end digitization and automation of the rail freight industry. As part of the European Green Deal, the European Union aims to increase the share of freight transported by rail to 30 percent by 2030. Crucial to achieving this goal is the digitalization and automation of freight trains.
With our Digital Freight Train (DFT) solution package, we’re bringing the necessary technology on the tracks! At InnoTrans 2022, Michael Gutemann, Head of Global Sales & Business Development Coupling Systems, goes into detail about how Knorr-Bremse's DFT is working to increase transportation capacity and boost efficiency and availability.
