Driving in the Netherlands: Rijksweg N11 & N207 from Leiden to Boskoop

In this video you can ride along on Rijksweg N11 and provinciale weg N207 from Leiden to Boskoop in the West of the Netherlands. The N11 is kind of an odd expressway that I believe was once planned as a motorway (A3?) but this never came to fruition.
Even to-date the N11 doesn't have a fully grade-separated alignment from Leiden to Bodegraven. Around Alphen a/d Rijn, the largest city on the road between Leiden and Bodegraven, there are at grade junctions with traffic lights. The N11 effectively connects motorways A4 and A12 through the West of the country although the junction with the A12 near Bodegraven is also something quite special. The drive ends in Boskoop, a town not too far from Alphen a/d Rijn and Gouda. It's known for its many greenhouses and agricultural companies.
