At Rutgers Presbyterian Church we mark Pride month by faithful preaching - lifting up beautiful diversity of the Bible.
Biblical tradition contains some beautiful passages expressing same gender love. One of them is put on the lips of King David in 1 Samuel chapter one (especially when properly and faithfully translated).
On pride Sunday we will celebrate this broad diversity of love in the Bible, so often neglected and even censored, mistranslated and misinterpreted.
