Even YouTube screening software did not like bigoted and hurtful language present in some older biblical translations. It was high time to eliminate anachronistic biblical homophobia.

In this episode, after comparing different versions of the Lord|s Prazer and the Beatitudes Rev. Stehlik explains why he thinks it is a divine blessing to never access "Ipsissima verba Jesu." (The very words of Jesus). It is a protection against rigid fundamentalism or literalism and divine invitation to active, creative and engaged faith. ··· ··· ··· ··· American bigots are banning and censoring many books. For instance, "Heather has two mommies". Pastor Andrew bought it, read it and found it charming. He would not hesitate to read it with his four-year-old granddaughter. Do the American bigots know what kind of company of ugly totalitarian characters they join? Censorship is just a form of spiritual and intellectual impotence. Instead of censorship, there is a different approach that we find in the Bible with the example of Luke, who didn't burn the other older accounts he had issues with but wrote his own.
