WCNC Gastonia church which serves the homeless population faces a city lawsuit.
The City of Gastonia is suing Faith, Hope & Love Community Enrichment Ministries for failing to comply with local ordinances, including trash and debris on the church property. The ministry provides the local homeless population with food, clothing and shelter on the church campus.
The ministry says that they are serving people in need and need support from the city, not roadblocks and fines.
