In this video you can ride along on Autocesta A1 E61 - E70 from Postojna to Koper in Slovenia. Postojna is about half way the distance between the capital Ljubljana and Koper on the Adriatic coast.
Postojna is known as a (former) mining city and has some impressive cave complexes in the area that tourists can visit. Koper is the focal point of the A1 on Slovenia's short stretch of Adriatic coast. At Koper the road shortly continues as a 2 x 2 expressway (H6) before dissolving into a regular B-road serving some of the resort towns on the coast.
Traffic on the A1 has increased drastically over the past decade or so, especially the share of truck traffic. It's the main connection between Ljubljana and the port of Slovenia, as well as the port of Trieste in Italy just across the border.
