Guy Martin Proper Morris Lubricants' Technology Manager, Adrian Hill & Guy Martin go down into the service pit where the vehicle driveline, dedicated to taking power from the engine to the wheels, is reviewed and how choice of design can contribute to the reduction of emissions.
Adrian gives a design overview of three types of transmission: manual, automated manual (AMT) and fully automatic. These designs rely on tailored lubricant performance to deliver power as efficiently as possible under a variety of workloads, whilst protecting the system components.
