WeShine World Dance Competition 2020 Highlights

晓佩舞蹈Xiaopei Chinese Dance The USCDA “2020 WeShine” Dance Competition was a success as we took the event online due to COVID-19 pandemic. We received numerous entries from dancers and dance groups from far and wide, who ordinarily would not have been able to bear the expense to attend and compete in person. Almost 600 amateur and professional contestants from all over, including China, Germany, Brazil, Singapore, Russia, and many US states, sent in videos of their performances. Some were previously recorded (pre-Covid-19), including at other dance competitions, and some were recorded this year in “safely distanced” studios or homes. With so many videos to review, the judges — renowned professionals in the US and China — needed weeks to review and evaluate and score.
