The Whisky Speaker Founded in 2017 by Jordan Lunn and his family of distillers, with a goal of producing West Midlands (WMD crafted spirits the traditional way; in a 400 litre copper pot still on an open flame.
Laying down single malt whisky casks since 2021, with a single barrel approach meaning they are able to experiment with heritage grains, yeast strains, brewing techniques and cask selection; whilst still retaining a full bodied, fruit forward identifying character ointment their spirt.
2024 will see the first WMD whisky come of age. This will be followed by single cask releases that celebrate the raw ingredients, passion and dedication that has produced each bottling.
In the same year the family will see the opening of a new dedicated whisky distillery, visitor centre, school and launch of The WMD Club.
