I brought on a new one on one coaching client today and she wants to breakdown her money mindset be she’s she wants more and she deserves it too. Over the next six months my mission is to break help her break up with the mindset of “lack”, and to get her in the habit of serving, giving, and feeling emotionally worthy of “abundance” for her.
Mannnnnn, look, I get it 100% I even wrote about it in my book Loving Yourself Properly. The relationship with money is an emotional one, often rooted in shame or self-perceptions that we’re inherited.
Speaking from experience: if you operate with lack, you often create an environment of lack. When you operate from an energetic space of abundance, good enough, and worthiness you’ll notice that opportunities find you with ease. I don’t say that as spiritual jargon either, I find that to be true for my own life and those that I’ve supported over the years.
One of the best things I did in my twenties was throw away the scarcity mindset that was given to me by my environment and enable and unbothered growth-abundance mindset.
Mindset is everything.
My steps:
• Stop listening to your friends and family who have scarcity or self-defeating thoughts (honestly, how can they help you?)
• breakup with perfection and allow yourself the space to make mistakes and learn.
• seek EXPERIENCE and the right information. Chasing information all day keeps you out of action. Get your feet in the mud, get dirty, and make a mess. Experience is everything.
