Länk Arquitectes is an architectural practice founded in Barcelona in 2019 and co-directed by architects, Andrea Las Hayas (ETSAB 2012) and Iago Pineda (ETSAV 2013). Both also trained at the Stockholm School of Architecture (KTH) and with professional experience both in Spain and Belgium.
They are committed to an architecture that does not separate spatial or formal approach from environmental, energetic or constructive strategies.
Their practice could be seen as an exercise in connecting the context – the existing condition – with the possibility – the latent situations. Rigorous analysis, technical and material exploration, and a willingness to go beyond the requirements of each project are essential.
The studio develops projects of different scales, budgets and typologies, working in the fields of architecture, urban design and landscape. They combine projects in both the public and private spheres, always trying to be active between commissions, competitions and research.
