DISCUSSION:
Please read Luke 10: 25-37. Starting at verse 30, Jesus’ parable teaches an earthly story with a heavenly message. What ‘heavenly message’ are you ready to activate in your life?
Share a time you loved someone through serving them in a capacity that was a sacrifice of your time, finances, and/or comfort zone. How did Jesus move in the experience?
Reread Luke 10:27 and then Matthew 22:34-40. What similarities do you notice in both interactions between Jesus and a Pharisee? What does Jesus teach are the greatest commandments of all? Check out the Old Testament scripture that Jesus is referencing, Deuteronomy 6:5 and Leviticus 19:18.
Jesus is the hero of our stories. He put this group of ladies together on purpose and for a purpose. How can you pray for one another this week? How can we help each other?
