A note from Christoph:
"Can't Help Falling In Love" is my first favorite Elvis song. I had heard it on the radio while I was in elementary school in Germany, but didn't know who and what it was. My best friend's dad was from the U.S., so I figured he ought to know and he did after I hummed the melody to him. (This was in the mid-70s, so I needed someone who was around when Elvis sang this in the movie 'Blue Hawaii' in 1961.)
Many other Elvis favorites followed, and then The Beatles, Supertramp, ELO, Billy Joel, The Alan Parsons Project . . . Britney Spears.
I played this on February 11 during the weekly Prelude-Concert on The Great Organs of First Church L.A., in anticipation of Valentine's Day.
