International Potato Center (CIP) SweetGAINS project funded by BMGF worked to modernize sweetpotato breeding and early generation seed production in Africa.
Dr. Maria Andrade, 2016 World Food Prize Laureate led work package 2 which focused on modernization in plant breeding shares what success looked like in this key area.
