Trinity 6: Walk by sight - this might come as a surprise - aren't we supposed to walk by faith and not by sight? That's next week's reflection... Today I am using Isaiah 55 to say that there is plenty of evidence for faith, that faith is never 'blind'. God is very visual in his communication. So faith is lining up the evidence and choosing too believe it. At the end I use a very clever video clip of someone walking Striding Edge - and I have given full credit for the link. It's worth watching. Maddy Prior and the Carnival Band promote the old !8th and !9th century 'gallery bands' - that is, the group of players and singers that used to sit in the musicians' gallery in churches and provide the music for the singing before the advent of organs and the fellowship of the group was lost to the ownership of one. But that's another story.
