DISCUSSION:
Surrender=to give up or hand over. Often in life we need a “draw a line in the sand moment.” We are going to take a moment in worship and write down the thing we need to surrender, the thing we need to hand over to God and leave in His hands. Then as an act of faith we will lay it at the cross. It will be a physical reminder of your surrender.
If you are comfortable, share what you just surrendered with your group. James 5:16(MSG) Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you can live together whole and healed. The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with.
Read John 10:9-11, Psalm 23:1, and Isaiah 40:11. How does knowing that Jesus in your good shepherd encourage you to believe that he has more for you?
