Christopher Walker: An internationally known lecturer and choral conductor, Christopher Walker is also one of the Church’s most prolific and versatile composers. Born and educated in England, he earned his degree in music from Bristol University. He was the first director of music for 18 years at Clifton Cathedral in Bristol, opened in 1973. He has appeared on BBC T.V. and radio and his music is frequently broadcast.

This lovely little children’s tune, though simple and straightforward, nevertheless conveys a strong message of Jesus’s love. The melody has a vocal harmony and descant on both the refrain and the verses. Accompanied by keyboard, guitar, and solo instrument, the piece touches on topics of love for God, love for others, justice, and the comfort that God’s love brings us.
