This gorgeous piece by Graham Twist is based on a beloved carol, which is a favorite of mine. Graham has graciously asked me to be the dedicatee, which I was more than thrilled about. It features the warm and romantic sounds of the Marcussen organ and the melody can be heard on the Regaal 8' of the Borstwerk. I sincerely hope I (as well as my hat and christmas pajamas) have done this piece justice, but that is for Graham to decide!
This was played on the Main organ of the Laurenskerk in Rotterdam, as sampled for Hauptwerk by Sonus Paradisi.
