Scotrail passengers climb out of train & walk through dark tunnel to station

The Scottish Sun SCOTRAIL passengers were forced to climb down from their train and walk along dark train tracks.
The service was heading to Kilwinning when it was axed due to the fire at the Station Hotel in Ayr.
ScotRail was forced to axe trains running through Ayr as 15 fire crews battled the inferno near the train station, with services still not running this morning.
The 6pm train came to a halt just seconds away from Kilwinning station, with dozens of frustrated passengers on board.
As it got darker outside, train staff had to switch off the power to conserve energy in case they could get underway - plunging the carriages into darkness.
But two hours after they came to a stop, transport cops made their way down the tracks to escort the weary passengers to the nearby platform.
