dieser Beitrag ist aus einer interessanten Debatte heraus entstanden.
Das Bildnis des "Blue Ocean" stammt aus dem Bestseller "Der blaue Ozean als Strategie - Wie man neue Märkte schafft, wo es keine Konkurrenz gibt". Sicherlich haben die Autoren nicht an den Markt der Honigerzeugung gedacht und dennoch sind es auch in dieser Branche die gleichen Herausforderungen einen Platz im Wettbewerb zu finden. Wo führt es hin, wenn wir uns nur über den Preis mit dem Wettbewerb stellen ? Können wir dann noch wirtschaftlich ein Produkt herstellen, das hochwertig, rückstandsfrei, tiergerecht, nachhaltig ist? Wie beeinflusst die immer größer werdende Hobbyimkercomunity-Community den Honigmarkt und die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der Berufsimker, wenn sie den Honig zu Spottpreisen in den Markt bringen, nur damit er nicht im Keller verstaubt?
Wie positioniert sich der Verband DIB (Deutscher Imkerbund) hinsichtlich eines angemessenen Preises für Honig? Torsten Ellmann 6.50€ oder doch schon 6.99€ wegen der Energiepreise? Wo sehen DIB und DEUTSCHER BERUFS UND ERWERBS IMKER BUND E.V. (DBIB) die Wurzel des Bösen? Ist der böse, kriminelle Ausländer mit Honigverfälschungen Schuld, dass wir unseren Honig nicht besser vermarkten oder sind dies nur Täuschungsmanöver für unsere Kunden?
Es ist gut, dass wir in einer freien Markwirtschaft leben, dass wir als aufgeklärter Kunde die Wahl haben uns für ein Produkt zu entscheiden, welches all unseren Ansprüchen gerecht wird (Qualität, Tierwohl, Nachhaltigkeit und Einzigartigkeit). Natürlich eine Herausforderung für den Hersteller seinen Kunden von den Vorzügen seines Produktes zu überzeugen und zu erklären, warum es einen gewissen Preis wert ist. Aber was ist schon einfach im Leben.

This post arose from an interesting debate.
The image of the "Blue Ocean" comes from the bestseller "The Blue Ocean as a Strategy - How to create new markets where there is no competition". The authors certainly did not think about the honey production market and yet the same challenges exist in finding a place in the competition in this industry. Where will it lead if we only compete with the competition based on price? Can we then still economically produce a product that is high quality, residue-free, animal-friendly and sustainable? How does the ever-growing hobby beekeeping community influence the honey market and the competitiveness of professional beekeepers when they bring honey onto the market at ridiculous prices just so that it doesn't end up gathering dust in the basement?
What is the position of DIB (German Beekeepers Association) regard to an appropriate price for honey? Torsten Ellmann €6.50 or €6.99 because of energy prices? Where do DIB and DEUTSCHER BERUFS UND ERWERBS IMKER BUND E.V. (DBIB) see the root of evil? Is it the criminal foreigner with product adulteration that we don't market our honey better or are these just diversionary tactic for our customers?
It's good that we live in a free market economy and that, as enlightened customers, we have the choice to choose a product that meets all of our requirements (quality, animal welfare, sustainability and uniqueness). Of course, it is a challenge for the manufacturer to convince his customers of the advantages of his product and to explain why it is worth a certain price. But what is easy in life?
