Parable of the Lamp Stand
“You are the light of the world-like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that
everyone will praise your heavenly Father.”
Matthew 5:14-16 (NLT)

We ________ our voice in our relationship with Jesus.

We ________ our voice by relying on the Holy Spirit.

We _________tune our voice by saying YES to opportunities.

We are _________ from hiding our voice.

DISCUSSION:
How would you describe your voice - too much, too little, or _________? What has influenced your voice? Has it changed over the years? How?

Where have you struggled with “finding your voice” to be a light for Jesus? Can you identify what dims your light or keeps it hidden?
How can we turn that around and fuel our voices with the power of the Holy Spirit?

Please read 1 Peter 2:9
