Motor.TV #Porsche will make just 1,963 911 S/Ts inspired by the race-ready version of the 911 S from the '60s and '70s. It combines all of the best GT3 bits, with some historical details, and a six-speed manual.
🎉 Porsche is celebrating 70 years and the 60th anniversary of the 911! 🎉 To honor this iconic sports car, a limited edition variant, the 911 S/T, is being introduced, a real treat for Porsche fans.
This special model combines the powerful 4.0L, 518 hp engine from the GT3 RS with a six-speed manual transmission and is more road-focused. It’s packed with specially engineered lightweight parts, making it the lightest 992-generation 911.
👉 For the first time, Porsche is introducing a manual transmission to the GT3 RS’ engine. This exclusive model features a lightweight clutch, reducing the rotating mass by 23 lbs, and incorporates carbon fiber reinforced plastic and magnesium wheels, among other lightweight materials.
The 911 S/T can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 186 mph. It’s not just for the racetrack; it’s designed for carving canyons and cruising country roads.
Paying homage to the classic 911 ST from the late '60s/'70s, this model doesn’t sport the aggressive wings & aero of the 911 GT3 RS. It will bear the original Porsche crest and offer a “Heritage Design Package,” with exclusive colors and a special roundel on the door for any number between 0 to 99.
