soundimage4ever In this video I combine one of my soundscapes with bits and pieces of the Japanese film 'A snake of June'. The story and atmosphere of that film is quite different from what I imagined to do here. For my soundscape I've collected several normal daily city-life sounds and combined them with environmental noises from the film and with music by Bernard Hermann. In the middle of this video -in the 'kitchen-cooking scene' I also use an excerpt from 'Sabotage', an early Hitchcock-film from the thirties that's used here to suggest a television playing in the background. And..., talking about a great master of suspense, Hitchcock, the music in this clip is taken from his masterpiece 'Psycho' and is composed by Bernard Hermann. This piece from Herrmann's brilliant score is called 'Marion and Sam'.
I leave it up to you -viewer and listener- to interpret this video's 'story' in your own way.
