MY VOICE MATTERS’ ... Transgender rights activist Deyonce Naris on Friday called on the public and government to treat the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex (LGBTQI+) community with love and kindness. She said this in light of International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia, which is observed annually on 17 May. Naris said it is equally important that the government recognise that LGBTQI+ community members are human beings who deserve protection like everyone else.
