I want you to feel free from chasing perfectionism and people-pleasing habits. The freedom of giving yourself the ability to make a mistake feels a million pounds lighter.
Trust me; I get it because I grew up in an environment that expected perfection. I overcane it and share how in the book.
Lucky for me, I became an athlete at a young age, and I learned that committing to the work and learning is better than chasing the fake ideal of perfectionism.
This is the reason you keep creating the same cycles in relationships, why you feel drained, exhausted, and suppress what you’re thinking/feeling. Repeat after me:

This is from chapter 5 of Loving Yourself Properly, and what I recommend in the book is to lean into self-compassion.
Let’s say you make a mistake; what does that inner self-talk sound like? Is it demonstrative and aggressive? If so, how does that support you spiritually, literally, or emotionally? If you grew up in an adverse environment, maybe that’s all they knew, but you, my friend, can be free from that. How: by choosing to break the pattern. Repetition rewires the brain, so you can read books that speak good energy into you, like Loving Yourself Properly. You can do mindfulness meditation. You can journal every morning or night and dump everything in there.
