Established in 2019 by three young architects (Gerardo Peregín, Miguel de Rojas and Marc Amigó), OKUMA Studio is a “nomadic” architectural and design practice which doesn’t have a fixed headquarters. It is one of the companies that successfully implemented a virtual work system. They are participating in several architectural international competitions obtaining two Second Prized and recognition within the world of architecture as young professionals.
They approach the space as a tool to tell the story of each company, highlighting its legacy, values and purpose. Therefore, their main objective and goal is to represent and emphasize their clients through a unique approach of a design process by introducing innovation.
Our guest speaker, Miguel de Rojas was born in Barcelona in 1994. He is an Architect with a Master's Degree from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and a Master's Degree in Construction Technology from the University of Delft (The Netherlands). The new Camp Nou football stadium for FC Barcelona is one of the projects he contributed to as a part of the Nikken team.
