They also mention that there is no clear mention of how the al-Lawh al-Mahfuz is in appearance; however, we know it does in fact exist since Allah Ta’ala has made mention of it in the Quran. The exact appearance of al-Lawh al-Mahfuz is from amongst the things only known to Allah Ta’ala himself. What we do know about it is that indeed all things are pre-written in it and that the Quran is protected within it. To know how the al-Lawh al-Mahfuz is in appearance should not affect ones’ iman in any way since there are many things we are made unaware of yet we still believe in their existence.

While there are differences between the original Sumerian and later Babylonian and Assyrian flood accounts, many of the similarities are strikingly close to the Genesis flood account. The Babylonian account is the most intact, with only seven of 205 lines missing. It was also the first discovered, making it the most studied of the early flood accounts.

When he was about to leave, the messenger of Allah (saw) said ; Come and visit me in Al-Madinah. A few days later that Arab came to meet the messenger of Allah (saw). The messenger of Allah (saw) asked him do you want anything ? The Arab replied : yes, I want a she camel with a covered litter and a goat which gives milk. Allah's messenger (saw) said: 'Alas had you only asked for something like an old woman belonging to Banu Israil had asked for!' When the companions رضي الله عنه wanted to know about the incident, the messenger of Allah (saw) said : When Sayyidna Kalimullah (as) led bani Israil out of Egypt, he forgot the way. He tried a thousand times to find his way, but in vain. He gathered the people and asked them about the reason for this confusion. The scholars from amongst them replied : When Sayyidna Yusuf (as) time had come to close, he had us promise him to take his coffin along with us when we leave Egypt. Sayyidna Musa (as) then asked whether anyone where his grave was situated, none of the people replied in the affirmative, but thus said that there was a very old woman who knew where he was laid to rest. So Sayyidina Musa (as) sent someone to her, asking her to show the grave. The old woman said I will show you, but first I will take what is due to me. Sayyidina Musa (as) said what do you want ? She said I want to be your companion in Paradise. This was quite hard for Sayyidina Musa (as), but at that very instance it was revealed to him that he ought to accept that condition. The old woman then took them to a lake and told them to draw its water, the colour of which had changed. They drew the water , and when the bed of the lake became visible, she told them dig here. So they began to dig unto the grave became visible. They took the coffin, then when they resumed their journey they found their way without any difficulty.

Recently in India, a fact-revealing book has been published. The book has been the topic of discussion and gossip all over the country. If the author of this book were a Muslim, he probably would have been arrested or murdered. Perhaps all copies of this book would have been confiscated. Maybe, even a ban would have been extended. A riot and violence would have broken out against innocent Muslims and their blood would have been shed. After years of research, he published this book, and no less than eight pundits have endorsed and certified his points of argument as authentic. According to Hindu belief, the Hindu world awaits "the guide and leader", named Kalki Avatar. However, the description as given in the holy scriptures of the Hindu points only to the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) of Arabia. Therefore, the Hindus of the whole world should not wait any longer for the arrival of Kalki Avatar (the spirit) and should readily accept Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) as Kalki Avatar.

This concept of multiple different earths or worlds is not unusual in the ancient world; by comparison, in Norse mythology there are nine world or realms counting Hel, the underworld. Some modern du'aah, though, seeking to protect the supposed scientific infallibility of the Qur'an have proposed that this description of seven earths (and also description of seven heavens) actually is a type of scientific miracle whereby the Quran and Sunnah actually predicted the findings of modern earth sciences by over one thousand years. In point of fact no exegete before the modern period ever interpreted the verses this way; such an interpretation is novel and meant to fit the Qur'an into the modern, scientific view of the universe rather than taking the Qur'an and Sunnah as texts of their time and interpreting them in line with their author's intent. If sweat appeared on his face, the beads glistened like pearls, and the fragrance of his perspiration excelled the smell of musk. The Prophet’s cheeks were soft, his forehead wide, and his eyebrows thin and arched. His eyes were wide, with black pupils, while the whites were mixed with crimson. He had long thick eyelashes. The bridge of the Prophet’s nose was high and shiny. His mouth was wide, and there were spaces between each of his teeth. His teeth were bright, appearing like tiny hailstones when he smiled, and they sparkled as he talked. The Prophet’s beard was black, thick and full, covering most of his chest. A few grey hairs showed on his ear lobes and chin.

After arriving back, he told the Oghuz sovereign of that time about it. From then, Oghuz Bey began operating a white beards organization. They picked their best Alps and sent them to gather information. The Seljuk Empire of Rum also kept the same lore and Ottoman Sultans certainly began the use of spies in the decision making procedure. There were four different categories of secret agents; the first scrutiny was the front Akinjis, then Deliler for finding facts and the white beards the concealed ones and then the Alps for implementing the orders. When Khorasan, Central Asia, and the Caucasus were vanquished by the attackers, they murdered many white beards because they contemplated them as the masterminds of the resistance. White beards accustomed to show themselves by placing their signs on buildings. The formerly depicted signs show their existence in history and made the theories stronger about them.

People living in other parts of the world witnessed the splitting of the moon as well, which happened 18 June 1178, corresponding with Dhul-Hijjah 29, 573 on the Islamic calendar.

He was a generous merchant who frequently donated money to needy people. On some accounts, Jirjis (a) went to Syria to guide its idol-worshiping unjust king to the right path. However, there are other accounts according to which he donated his money and migrated to Syria and its ruler in order to protect his faith. After meeting the king of Syria, Jirjis (a) called him to worship God and abandon idolatry. When Jirjis (a) refused to honor the idols, the king ordered his torture and execution. After the murder, Jirjis (a) came to life again. The king ordered his execution again. This happened three times. In the fourth time, he cursed the king of Syria and his people and asked God to let him die to be emancipated from pains.

However, in the Bible the term was more frequently associated with a major deity in the Canaanite pantheon, being the son of the chief god El and his consort Ashera (In some sources he is the son of Dagon, with El being a more distant ancestor; and Ashera is not always portrayed as his mother). He is thought by many scholars to be a Canaanite version of the Babylonian god Marduk and identical with the Assyrian deity Hadad. In Canaanite lore, he was the ruler of Heaven as well as a god of the sun, rain, thunder, fertility, and agriculture. The worship of this deity was prevalent in Canaan from ancient times (prior to the Israelite exodus from Egypt until well after the Babylonian exile in the sixth century B.C.E.). Such worship was violently opposed by the Biblical prophets and several of the kings of Judah, who believed it was God's will that Canaanite religion be completely eliminated from Judah and Israel.

The trunk of the Tree was a huge angel named Samrafil. The Prophet could see nothing else besides it. It grew from an infinite, unimaginable, indescribable ocean of musk. The tree had an infinite number of branches, created from a heavenly element that has no name in a created language.

Moreover, it did not have a roof so a group of thieves stole the treasures kept inside it. Therefore, the Quraysh had to rebuild it; they were eager to keep it in good shape. They agreed that they would use only pure money, so money gained from prostitution, usury or from oppressing people was not used in rebuilding it. But they feared that demolishing the Kaaba would earn Allah’s wrath. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) ordered that a piece of cloth be brought, and he placed the Black Stone in the middle of the cloth. Then he (peace be upon him) ordered for every tribe to lift an edge of the sheet at the same time and bring it near the Kaaba. Next, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) took the Black Stone and placed it in its position. This was a wise solution to the dispute which illustrated how clever and wise the Messenger of Allah was, and his people were pleased with the Messenger of Allah’s decision.

Based on these many legends, explorers and adventurers looked for the elusive Fountain of Youth or some other remedy to aging, generally associated with magic waters. These waters might have been a river, a spring or any other water-source said to reverse the aging process and to cure sickness when swallowed or bathed in.

The matter has been decreed about which you both inquire.” And he said to the one whom he knew would go free, “Mention me before your master.” But Shaitan made him forget the mention [to] his master, and Yaqub remained in prison several years.

They took the sheep home and Musa went back to his resting spot under a tree. He was a lonely stranger, had no job, was far from home, and he had never worked before. He was accustomed to opulent living and affluence in the palace of Pharaoh. He remembered pomp, wealth, power, and ease. But all of a sudden he is now an ordinary man like anyone else. He could have, but he didn’t, ask them for anything in return—no coffee, no “lets grab a sandwich” and definitely no date.

Zakariya al-Qazwini in this cosmological book Aja'ib al-Makhluqat "The Wonders of Creation" comments about the anqa as "the kin of birds that lived alone on Mount Qaf" and "a wise bird with experience gained throughout many ages and gives admonitions and moral advice".Qazwini also says that the bird lives for 1700 years, mating at 500 years of age and that the chick, after the egg breaks, stays inside and only comes out after 125 years.

Surah Al-Kahf has many stories in it. The story of Ashab-e-Kahf is one of these. Back in 250 AD, the Roman emperor Decius also called Daqyanoos ruled with tyranny. He forced people to worship idols. During that time, a young man lived who did not believe in idol worshipping. He believed in the message of Hazrat Isa (AS) regarding the Oneness of Allah. A group of young men started to follow his teachings and condemned worshipping.

A beautiful woman, she became pregnant after David saw her bathing on a rooftop and had her brought to him. David then ordered that Uriah be moved to the front-line of a battle, where he was killed. David married the widowed Bathsheba, but their first child died as punishment from God for David’s adultery and murder of Uriah. David repented of his sins, and Bathsheba later gave birth to Solomon. When David was dying, Bathsheba successfully conspired with the prophet Nathan to block Adonijah’s succession to the throne and to win it for Solomon. She occupied an influential position as the queen mother.

Being true believers, Muslims must know that the act of touching or kissing the Black Stone is only done because Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) kissed and revered the sacred stone. Hajr e Aswad should be respected and honoured. However, Muslims should keep in mind that Allah SWT alone is the Lord and He alone should be worshipped, and no other thing (or person) reserves that honour.
