We met up in Porto to do the Portugues Camino together. Before we departed, I had a day to spend exploring this beautiful city.

··· ··· ··· ··· I walked the central route of the Portuguese Camino, departing Porto on the 28 May and arriving in Santiago de Compostela on the 7 June. Items I took with me - Rucksack - Walking poles - Water bladder - Rain coat - Long trousers (lightweight) - Shorts (lightweight) - one pair was running shorts, which I also used for swimming - 2 pairs of hiking socks (not used) - Hiking sandals - Hiking shoes (ditched on the walk because they were no longer fit for purpose) - Hat - 2 pairs of underwear - Sun glasses - Travel towel - Medication/toiletries - 2 quick drying t-shirts - 2 lightweight long sleeve shirts - Passport - Mobile phone and charger - Sleeping bag (lightweight) Purchased on the Camino - 10ltr lightweight travel rucksack that can fit in the pocket

Having completed the Camino Frances in 2022, I'm travelling this time to Portugal, to walk from Porto to Santiago de Compostela - a journey of around 270km. In this video, I show what I'm taking with me - the aim is to travel as light as possible. I hope to upload videos of the journey to my YouTube channel on my return home.
