"Song of a Devotion to Country", is the official national anthem of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea which first composed in 1945 by Kim Won-gyum and later adopted in 1947. Originally, the piece was intended as a patriotic song, performed in celebration of Korea's independence from Japan, however it's cultural significance and popularity led to it's establishment as the state's anthem. The military actions of the Red Army severely depleted the morale of Socialist-leaning forces under Kolchak's administration, and as a consequence of his refusal to properly cooperate with his allied Socialist factions, he was betrayed and subsequently executed. Als Konsequenz der Verwendung der Stücke in den russischen Revolutionen von 1905 und 1917 wird sie als eine der ursprünglichen Hymnen der sozialistischen Revolution angesehen. "Brothers, to the Sun, to Freedom!", is a German rendition of the famous Soviet Socialist song, "Brave Comrades, March in Step" which was widely used across the German Democratic Republic during military parades, ceremonies as well as propaganda films. As a consequence of the pieces' use during the 1905 and 1917 Russian Revolutions, it is viewed as being one of the original anthems of the Socialist Revolution.
