01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 24.11.2023 · 18:00:09 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· Kwantuni composed by Eld. J. K. Amoako This song tells of a Pilgrim traveling in this world with nothing but Faith in Christ Jesus. It beckons on them (Pilgrims) to strive ahead as nothing profitable is behind. In this world of disappointments, trials and sorrows, God's marvelous grace constantly gives us hope - Hope that propels us to strive ahead to meet our Savior. As Pilgrims we ought to be fully prepared as we do not know the hour of Christ's coming; for that very morn, we shall reach our destination and meet up with our dearest Savior. Join us pilgrim through life with this old but golden song of hope.

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 17.11.2023 · 18:00:10 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· Osabarimba, arranged for SATB in 1974 by Tsemafo-Arthur This song is a post-war music created by the converts of the Methodist Church of Otuam. The war was fought in Dego between Otuam and Dego in 1920. It was a song to welcome Rev. Gaddiel R. Acquaah's first visit to Otuam as Chairman of the Methodist Church. After the Church service, he engaged the performers to sing it several times which he notated and later provided an abridged version on it which is being sung to date. Tsemafo - Arthur, a native of Otuam has provided the Original Music to this effect as his People continue to sing the Original which is still lovely.

12:: MOMMRA - Composed By Emmanuel Owusu

··· ··· ··· ··· Mommra (Let's Come) is a clarion call assembling Heirs of the Kingdom to sing as Christ leads us triumphantly to Zion. The lyrics can be likened to first two stanzas of SDAH 422: Come, we that Love the Lord, and let our joys be known, join in a song with sweet accord and thus surround the throne. It continues to say Let those refuse to sing who never knew our God, but we, children of the Heavenly King may speak their joys abroad. Join us as we March to Zion, the beautiful city of God with songs of joy.

18:: "Hena Wo Wura Fa" (Who Is On The Lord's Side) - By Emmanuel Owusu

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 16.06.2023 · 18:00:09 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· Hena Wɔ Wura Fa? (Who is on the Lord's side?) Auhor: Frances Ridley Havergal Music By: Emmanuel Owusu This hymn calls us to identify ourselves, if we're ''on the Lord's side'', and for that matter adhere to the great commission by being ''His helpers, other lives to bring'' . This kind of consistent Christian living is only possible ''by Thy grace divine''. The hymn also makes us understand that being on God's side wouldn't come easy, as ''fierce may be the conflict'' between the foe and God's army. However, once we're grounded firm in God's territory, Victory is guaranteed and "His truth unchanging makes the Triumph sure". Ponder over the words of the song and endeavor to be on the Lord’s side. #onevoice #chorale #onevoicechoirghana #comment #like #choir #share #choralsinging #praise #hymn

··· ··· ··· ··· Ha na mɛtra ahome daa (Forever Here My Rest Shall Be) Author: Charles Wesley Arrangement by Ps. Kwabena Donkor This hymn emphasizes the benefits that come to us through the Sacrifice of Christ. It reminds us of what Jesus did in order for a fountain to be opened for sin and uncleanliness. The first stanza encompasses Hope, and this hope is based on the fact that while we yet sinners, Christ died for us. Stanzas two and three talk about cleansing and washing respectively which is the central theme of the Hymn; THE PERFECT PURIFICATION. The 4th Stanza talks about Christ atoning for us with His blood till our faith and hope bear fruits and all our souls are but love - thus till when the Lord shall come again. ··· ··· ··· ··· Count Your Blessings. Authors: Johnson Oatman & Edwin O Excell. Arrangement with Descant by George Mensah Essilfie Monto Dwom Pa Mma Agyenkwa Author: Johannes Gotllieb Christaller Arrangement with Descant by Franklin Sasu This is a medley of two wonderful hymns of praise. These two hymns make us understand that there's a great spiritual health in taking time to simply count our blessings and praising God for who He is and what He's done in our lives. Being in tune with the Psalmist in Psalm 103:1-2 and Psalm 95:1-3, these two Hymns implore us to Bless the Lord, come before His presence with Thanksgiving and forget not all His benefits for He is a Great God, and a great King above all gods. May your heart be filled with Thanksgiving even when you think all is lost - For it'll take you surprise the unnumbered blessings God has bestowed on you. #choralsinging #choir #share #subscribe #like #comment #onevoicechoirghana #onevoice #chorale #praise #believe #dance #highlife

··· ··· ··· ··· Wo nkyɛn ara Nyame (Nearer, my God to Thee) Original Author: Sarah Flower Adams Arranged by: Derick Asare Antwi This hymn is about the joy and comfort found in being close to God. The second through to fourth stanzas are based on the story of Jacob and the ladder to heaven, found in Genesis 28:10-22. God's close connection to Jacob in this story is seen as a way of relief from the darkness (stanza 2) and “stony griefs” (stanza 4) of his human journey. The last stanza looks forward to the time when we will come to stand before God in eternal song - On Joyful wings we shall cleave the sky, and still our song shall be NEARER TO THEE OUR GOD!! #onevoice #subscribe #share #choir #chorale #choralsinging #comment #like #onevoicechoirghana #believe #praise #nearermygodtothee #god #thee #nearer

26:: "Bo Toi Koo, Misusuma" (Hark, My Soul) ft. Minister Nii Okai

01.01.1970 · 01:00:00 ··· 05.05.2023 · 17:15:07 ··· ···
··· ··· ··· ··· Bo toi koo, misusuma. (Hark, my soul! It is the Lord) Dominant Tune: Rev. Joseph Emmanuel Allotey Pappoe This is a Presbyterian Ga Hymn with its original (English) author, William Cowper. It was inspired by the story of the encounter between Jesus Christ, who had just risen from the dead and the Apostle Peter as found in John 21:15-17. This Hymn is not just a story-telling but a reflection of the Christian life - one which at a point in time is full of strong devotion to Jesus but, the love occasionally fall short of what Jesus would have hoped for. It finally gives us the zeal in the last stanza to openly admit our weakness and seek God's grace from above: "Lord, it is my chief complaint that my love is weak and faint; yet I love thee, and adore; O for grace to love thee more!" Reflect on the song and together let's beseech God to grant us grace to love Him more. #choir #subscribe #like #onevoice #share #chorale #choralsinging #comment #onevoicechoirghana #praise #believe

··· ··· ··· ··· “Gyedzinyi Twere No” (Trust on, Trust on Believer!) Original music by George Coles Stebbins in the Gospel Hymns No. 4 by Ira D Sankey et. al We present to you an arrangement of this soul inspiring Hymn by Newlove K. Annan. Trusting on often times becomes hard and seemingly impossible but as Proverbs 3:5 says: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart", we are admonished in this song to have Faith amidst the toils and pain in this world. Faith that is so real, that is too hard to ignore. Faith that can become ours when we Trust and accept it for ourselves. Be not afraid! thus saith the Lord our God. For He is mighty to save and as a faithful friend He is, he'll never let us down - Oh, trust on Believer, trust Him to the end!! #onevoice #onevoicechoirghana #subscribe #like #share #comment #chorale #choralsinging #choir #trust #believe #believer

This piece is a mashup of two wonderful hymns (Shall we gather and Sweet by and by) and it tells us of that beautiful city by giving a glimpse of the unending joy that will be filled in our hearts when all believers gather by the throne of our Maker. Reflect on the this song as we prepare in deeds and thoughts, to meet on that beautiful shore - in the sweet by and by. ''So Yebehyiam, Asaase Kama bi'' Tune & Arrangement by Ps. Kwabena Donkor
